A Taste of Paradise St. Lucia North Tour

Perhaps you have been to St. Lucia before and toured the southern communities and want to try something new!

This is a tour that explores the northern portion of the island.

From the cruise ship or your resort, you would enter the capital of Castries to see the French and European influences on the city in addition to other historical sites.

Then you will travel to Walcott Square and see a monument to St. Lucia’s War dead. Near the square, you will see a large Samaan Tree, commonly known as the “Massav” tree which is over 400 years old.

Also, on the eastern end of Walcott Square view the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.

You will then go to Morne Fortune (formerly called Le Carenage) and stop at Victory Monument where you will have spectacular views of the city and the northern portion of the island.

Once onboard we will travel southward past the 19th Century Governor’s House.

Then we’ll go to Marigot Bay to witness the beautiful views, the beach and explore the site where Dr. Doolittle was first filmed in 1966.

Your next stop will be the fishing village of Anse La Raye and Roseau Valley (banana plantation) then travel over the lush mountains for scenic views of Babonneau, Monchy, and spectacular views of both the Atlantic and Caribbean Seas.

The next stop will be the beaches of Choc Bay, Rodney Bay (Reduit Beach), Pigeon Island, and Cap Estates (Smugglers Cove Beach) before returning to your ship or resort.
